Skylight Artist's Association Exhibit
Reception and Meet the Artists is on Saturday
June 7,2008 from 3:30 - 5:30 pm

PPC members that are exhibiting include Ed Auger, Larry Petterborg, Dave Lerry, Mitsuka Iwahiro, Sarah Scott, Irwin Lightstone and Ron Marabito.

The exhibit is at the Farmers Branch Library and will be open for viewing during library hours until June 14, 2008.

Red Bull X-Fighters at The Fort Worth Stockyard
June 14th, Saturday, 8 pm Gates open at 5 pm.

This is a world class event and a one-time opportunity! The Red Bull X-Fighters produce the world's premier, most-progressive freestyle motocross show. It's so very cool! There are only 5 shows this year globally. The first two (in Mexico and in Brazil) were sold out events and after Fort Worth they will move to Europe (to Germany and to Spain).

Tickets can be purchased by visiting redbullxfighters.com. Three price categories are available - East grandstands tickets are $33; North grandstands tickets are $25 and Standing Room tickets are $15. You can also buy tickets from TicketMasters or Billy Bob's. Billy Bob's number is 817-624-7117.

Beginners Photography Workshop
June 21st from 1:00 to 3:00pm

The workshop is for members only. Not a member? That's OK you can join at the workshop. $24.00 for a years membership.

The workshop will be held at the church in room 210. For more information email Ed Auger.

2007-08 Year End Awards (and potluck) Party
Saturday, June 28th from 4:30 to 7:30 pm (dinner is at 5:00 or whenever all the food arrives).

Location: The party will be held at the church in our regular meeting room.

Attire: Casual to business casual.

Food: Each member brings a potluck dish to share with the group. Meat, drinks, and other supplies provided by the Club

Entertainment: Brief selections of images on CD presented by members. Year End images and Award presentation.

All members and spouses are welcome at this evening of food, socializing, and photography. However, please sign up to attend so that we can order enough food and supplies. Notify treasurer@PlanoPhotographyClub.com. that you will attend: your name, number attending, and potluck dish you plan to bring.

Get up close and personal with the tigers and lions at Pug Mark Park in
Mc Kinney, Texas. At Pug Mark Park you can get very close to the big cats. You are separated from the cats only by a wire fence. You can put a 400mm lens through the fence's 6x6" openings. The Tiger

optimum lens is the 70x200 mm.

The cost of the photo shoot is $50 or $35 if you have been there before. All the money goes toward feeding the big cats.
